Q&A – The Art and Science of MI

Motivational Interviewing is an approach to promoting strengths-based change that combines the art of impactful and compassionate care with the science of effective techniques to enact change. This video featuring Donna Rogers gives a brief overview of the theory behind MI and the methods used to support clients who are seeking to make changes in their lives.

One of the skills used in Motivational Interviewing is a technique called Brief Action Planning.
