Level Two Partner Workshop With Lindsay Dixon

Stressed out? Overworked? In need of a fresh perspective? Welcome to your one-day creative cocoon; a place and time to experience the power of presence and intuitive artmaking. This retreat is designed for service providers and caregivers who feel called to reconnect with their sense of purpose through yoga, meditation, journalling, creative visualization, expressive artmaking, and more. Our theme of creativity and resiliency will be explored both individually and collectively, and will be linked to current peer-reviewed scientific research.

This day is for you and your comfort is essential. You may wish to bring your favorite floor cushion, yoga mat, or blanket (extras will be available). No previous art, yoga, or meditation experience is required. Cost includes art supplies.

Learning Objectives

  • Explore the relationship between creativity and resiliency;
  • Learn about local and global resiliency movements;
  • Create your own ‘Resiliency Tree’;
  • Reattune to your own inner resourcefulness;
  • Practice the use of art as medicine and metaphor;
  • Try different forms of creative expression;
